Bi-Fold Automatic Knife

The Bi-Fold is a truly unique, patented knife design available exclusively from Spyderco. It challenges the conventions of the traditional folding knife with a structure that folds on a different axis and where the handle literally folds away from the blade. By folding laterally, like a book, the Bi-Fold is also much stronger along the cutting plane than conventional folding knife designs. The Bi-Fold also incorporates an index-finger hole-a feature popularized by French knifemaker Fred Perrin. This hole provides an extremely secure grip and allows the user the dexterity to use the fingers of that hand for other tasks while maintaining a grip on the knife. This eliminates the need to put the knife down as often and makes the Bi-Fold a very practical and functional tool.
